Stanford R. Ovshinsky.
Stan Ovshinsky is an American researcher and inventor with major contributions in the fields of physics and technology of amorphous semiconducting materials, thin-film photovoltaics, NiMH batteries, H storage systems for electric and hybrid vehicles, and digital optical memory systems.
